Student Registration - 2012-2013

The East Richland Community Unit District No. 1 Board of Education has announced the following guidelines for student registration for the 2012-2013 academic year.
 
Please consult the press release for more information regarding school physicals, immunization record requirements, and paperwork that you will need at registration. Preparation ahead will reduce headaches and frustration later.
 
  • Online registration for returning students will be available:
    July 23rd, 2012 through August 3rd, 2012

    Access codes for online registration will be mailed to the primary guardian and should arrive by July 16th, 2012.
  • Walk-in registration for new and returning students will still be available on:
    Tuesday, July 31st, 2012

    Registration forms for walk-in registration are available below. You can access, complete, and print out the registration forms prior to registration day, which will make the process move quickly.
     
    • No student pictures will be taken on registration day.

    Walk-in registration will be held at the following locations:
    K through 5th Grade, Pre-K 6th through 8th Grade 9th through 12th Grade

    Parents are asked to register their children in all grades (Pre-K through 12th) in accordance with the time schedule below. This is done to alleviate line congestion. Registration can occur at any of the times below for all students.

    Last name begins with A-H 10:00 am to 1:00 pm Tuesday, July 31st, 2012
    Last name begins with I-P 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm
    Last name begins with Q-Z 4:30 pm to 6:00pm

 

Parents of students new to the district should contact the school before registration day to minimize registration and scheduling problems. All new students should have a certified copy of their birth certificate, social security card, health/immunization records and, if possible, transcripts from their previous schools.

The first day of attendance for students will be Wednesday, August 15th, 2012.
Dismissal will be at 11:15am. No lunch will be served on this date.
